Devise and execute strategies capable of developing new and existing client relationships in the sector.
Attain new search assignments for the practice and manage the client interactions to ensure they are effectively delivered.
Explore all possible opportunities to sell services to target sectors and look for deeper service integration with existing clients.
Develop client-specific strategies aimed at building sustained client relationships capable of increasing the
recruitment services provided.
Identify value added capabilities for sector clients and work to introduce services or concepts that could strengthen Liftstream’s sector presence.
Deliver client advocacy based on vertical market expertise to enhance their business planning and decisions. Conduct market analysis to support client’s critical decision making.
Be fully conversant with client business strategies and introduce internal planning to optimise long-term
view for client support.
Work with external community and stakeholders to foster strong relations, increase awareness of Liftstream and its services and demonstrate thought-leadership through advocacy.
Support strategic development of the business to evaluate optimal strategies for international sales growth.
Attend industry events, symposia and networking opportunities to gain market intelligence, develop business, strengthen the network and increase company
Experienced recruitment professional with knowledge of the life sciences sector, able to contribute their experience to serving Liftstream’s target client markets; pharmaceutical and biotechnology.
You’ll bring exemplary professionalism and a strong customer service ethic, evident from the relationships you’ve been able to build in your career. Equally, you should be focused on the highest level of quality and performance in client service delivery.
Identifying strategically important clients is an important part of this role and we are seeking someone who is very motivated and confident in a new business development role.
Must exhibit a highly collaborative and consultative style to service delivery, working effectively with multiple internal and external stakeholders.
Willing to fulfill assignment delivery responsibilities which require you to initiate client briefings, strategy development and successful completion of searches. You must have a strong track record in managing senior appointments through to completion.
Qualifications and Experience:
• Degree educated, preferably higher degree - life science or business
• Extensive experience of winning and delivering recruitment search assignments in the life sciences sector
• Strong analytical skills and high acumen for business
• High-level communication skills, verbal and written form
• Strong influencing skills, especially at executive and board level
• Effective relationship building and business development skills
• Project management skills and strategic planning
• Excellent appreciation for cultures and diversity
• Willingness to occasionally (around 10%) travel internationally
